As it stands, there are many issues facing different parts of the world. In my opinion, the most important issue today is not just one specific part of the world, it is an issue that has been affecting the world for many years now. This issue is Global Warming. Did you know that ice is melting worldwide, especially at the Earth’s poles causing major flooding and higher water levels, ruining and causing hardships for Polar Bears, Penguins and other species from the Arctic. We need to reduce the emission of greenhouse gasses to not only keep the earth clean, but to help the issue that's facing the world today; Global Warming. As well as saving the lives of many species living in colder regions.
Along with specifically the colder regions, global warming is also affecting where we live today. Because of the temperature changing suddenly, severe storms with tornados and hurricanes are more possible to happen because of ocean water being warmer. All in all, Global Warming is one of the most important issues facing society and the earth today.
I agree with your proposal. Global warming is a dark reality that is quickly approaching us and we are the cause of it. At this rate our world is going to become a living toaster oven if change is not enacted. In 2003 i believe we had the hottest summer on record and I believe we had many casualties due to the heat and this summer has started off hot too. I'm hoping in the years come that we make it mandatory for people to use hybrid cars in the short run but for the long run discover a new way of driving without omissions.
